LongBow Strings
We build two bundle longbow strings. All of our FF strings have Dacron padding in the loops for extra protection to the limb tips and extra sound dampening. There is no difference in a well build two bundle over a three bundle string. You may mix and match the colors to suit. Customers should measure their strings off the bow for total length to ensure we build the correct length. Our strings are also pre-stretched but some stretch may still occur. Longbow loops are 1-1/4" (top loop) and 3/4" (bottom loop).
Our Hill style longbow loops are 7/8" (top loop) and 5/8" (bottom loop). We like to build them just big enough, but not too big.
Recurve Strings
We build two bundle recurve strings. All of our FF strings have Dacron padding in the loops for extra protection to the limb tips and extra sound dampening. There is no difference in a well build two bundle over a three bundle string. You may mix and match the colors to suit. Customers should measure their strings off the bow for total length to ensure we build the correct length. Our strings are also pre-stretched but some stretch may still occur. Recurve loops are 1-1/2" (top loop) and 1-1/8" (bottom loop). Custom loop sizes upon request.
